Bloomfield BMW - Oil Change special?

Hey All,

It looks like Bloomfield BMW is bringing back their $60 oil change coupon, valid until June 9th:
http://news.bmwofbloomfield.com/Coup...r-engines-only

Valid until July 9th: http://news.bmwofbloomfield.com/Coup...hange-special1

The question I have is... do they use the same oil they would on a normal oil change... or are they putting in some other kind of lesser oil?

- Faz

I've gotten my oil changed at Bloomfield a couple times, they use the same synthetic castrol oil they use for every oil change. Its a good place to get your oil changed and excellent price.

I've had bad experience with them lol but it wasn't an oil change. I'm sure they can't mess that up. If there is a dealer that is closer to you I believe dealers take other dealers coupons.

Oil disposal I'd about 2 dollars or something like that also add tax but it still pretty good. Last time I changed my oil I went to prestige I think and they had the 80 dollar special ended up being 85 or something like that. The original charge was 155 lol.

I see most dealers are now doing the $80 special. Guess they realized that people where not stupid enough to pay $130+ for 7 quarts of oil, a filter, and 10 minutes worth of work.

You're bringing the car in for a oil change not a turbo replacement. The mechanics are not going to be taking notes, making a list, and reporting back to the Fuhrer in Munich like the Gestapo.

Yeah you should be fine you're not doing anything under warranty. Also you can go to another dealer that's closer to you or one you like better they usually honor coupons.

yea and you use better oil too, I've noticed that my Oil temps are significantly running cooler when I run Mobile 1 0-40 euro flavor LL-01 from walmart $22 per 5 qt jug

But I do like that the dealer reports to carfax that the car oil change was done and I also like that if I have an issue with a code they can pull them and CPO it plus i can get a loaner if i schedule it in advance.

Just bring the printed out coupon (Expires June 9th), they should honor it. If not, call any other local bimmer dealership service and ask if they will price match the online coupon from Bloomfield. Usually dealerships don't want to advertise the lowest price over the phone cuz other dealerships will price match :P

Lol I had the same problem. Who did you speak to ? I was talking to some clueless broad that asked if I can read or not. Probably the only number she ever gets correct is the number of dicks that were inside her this weekend. Who talks to a customer like that? smh

That's false advertising... Its definitely more because they will charge you fees regardless...If you use 7 quarts of bmw oil with the filter, it will cost about 48 just in materials!
