I have 197's on my car (e90) and love them. I opted not to get the 189's as there are many more 189's than there are 197's
if i were you, i'd keep the 197's. they're much "rarer" from all the e92's i've seen to date [on the street]

why buy trade or buy OEM wheels? OEM wheels are just too boring.

I agree with your finding's, the 197's have a different unique look. The only downside would be more brake dust accumulation due to the busy web design.

2 reasons:

1. I like 189s better, because I preffer 5 sope style.
2. Cleaning

As for aftermarket wheels, the ones that I really like cost more than they are worth to me.

not always, it's hard to get the subtle look of OEM. that's why i absolutely love my 199's

very very true.
waxing rims is a PITA as well.
that's why i just go to a car wash that does a great job of cleaning the dust... and then i just claybar/wax right after.

either way, to the OP, good luck on your search. i dont' think you'll have a hard time finding a trade.
