Best place for tires in GVA?

It's time for a new set of rubber. Any recommendations for tire shops?
I haven't decided which to get:
Continental DW, Michelin PSS or PS2.

Got my winters from National Tire Wholesale in Delta. Although next time I'd buy from the states. Do that if you have time.

Just got a set of Continental DWs from Kal Tire, though I think if you're shopping for best price bellingham will be cheepest (even after import duties and taxes)

continental replaced my punctured tire for free within 1 year (covered by road hazard warranty)

good luck driving to and from the usa if you want to have this warranty work for you

The speed syndicate seems to have got quite a group of followers, but I found that their prices are usually on the higher side compared to fairly similar shops in Richmond. But I'm sure their customer service should be top notch.

When your getting tires locally, just go to Volco or National. Or have tire rack ship it to your door step. It's still gonna be cheaper than some local shops.

Thanks everyone. I've used Discount Tire for my wife's E30 only because I wanted a rims and tires package. I came out ahead a few years ago when the exchange rate was around par. I have the Style 189s on hand once the RFTs are gone. I checked Discount Tires for just the DW tires only but there isn't that much of a difference in price when you factor in the exchange rate and taxes.

I always get it online from the states =/ I always go for the cheapest source whether its simply ebay or some random tire site online (of course the more reputable ones if possible). I also buy 2 tires at a time therefore decreasing the chance of CBSA charging me customs and duty. (i go to point roberts quite often, so that is why i dont mind picking up tires in seperate go).

Just do a bit of research on prices, if as you say with exchange and taxes its similar, then might as well just buy here.

PS, DW is a fantastic tire, comfortable, awesome in rain (which is essential for Vancouver xD), quite a bit longer lasting than other summer tires, and very well priced. But i will still recommend PSS, its worth the extra $! Good Luck!

Yes, for most tire company, the shipping is based on per tire anyways, so it wouldnt make a difference. Also at the parcel places for pick up at point roberts they also charge by the tire, so will end up costing you the same.

I bought 18" pss (but wide spec, 255 and 275) and wouldve costed me close to $1,000.00 USD. Shipped each of them individually and picked em up seperately. Didnt get charged duty and tax once xD. Of course, it depends on the mood of the CBSA officer too haha. But if you are a frequent point roberts/blaine go-er, by all means do this to try to save yourself some money ;D
