e92 LCI front bumper SOLUTION!
Since, no one was coming up with a solution in a timely fashion, I have decided to take matters into my own hands.
I have sourced a shop that specializes in carbon fiber bodies for racing and such. I have offered to give them my car to make test fitting and molds. This will be a FULL CARBON FIBER FRONT BUMPER. I will be making an aggresive bumper similar to the 1M. In order for this to work, I would need to see the current interest. The shop will give a nice price offer depending on how many people are willing to go this route. Again, it is FULL AUTHENTIC carbon fiber. He gaurantees the fitment will be spot on. This will NOT be fiberglass. He told me it wouldn't cost that much more than those solutions anyways. +/- $1100? (my assumption) Let's do this. 1. Mashimarho 2. 3.

Why carbon fiber? It would be substantially less expensive to just use polypropylene/polyurethane/ABS. Plus those materials are able to deform and warp on impact instead of the all-or-nothing shattering of carbon fiber.

I think for the fairly decent cost, it's worth it. Other vendors are charging $1100 for a fiber glass one any ways. Why not spend a hundred or few more for a carbon fiber one that will be more durable, look better, have better fitment?

Very interested, however I would also prefer a polypropylene materialization simply for cost sake. Definitely interested; this is just a bit outside my target price range for a front bumper.

So, the upper lip or dimple would have more curvature and looks more aggressive?
Just an idea.... Looking for support and seeing what members think and what you guys want too. This will be a potential group buy.

Always wanted to see someone combine the arkym and 1M styles. Would be similar to the F8x now that I think about it! I'd join if I had an LCI

Cf is extremely durable. It is also very light weight and has the ability to leave a portion exposed to give it an aggressive appearance.
