Interior Detail Help
Peeps,
I have coral red and there is some wear showing on drivers bolster, so need to restore that somehow. Also want to spruce up the rest of the seats with a nice Matt finish. Finally want to bring the plastics inside up to a nice Matt even finish as well. Please let me know what you recommend product wise to achieve the above. Mercky Buckets.

a product I use on the ordinarily very shiny vinyl on the dino is http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/interi.../prod_328.html It leaves a nice matt finish with no residue.
I use this http://www.lttsolutions.co.uk/ for the leather. I'd imagine dr leather is a very similar concept where painted leather only needs cleaning and protecting. It leaves a very matt finish. |

Be very bloody careful!!
Clean the dash with a weak solution of washing up liquid with a sponge, keep the sponge quite dry will get the pikey shiny look off it, it's cheap silicon spray that's done that. Re leather also be careful. Can you not get a professional in like leather better or something? Be careful when trying to DIY leather or it will look like a council estate cortina...! Good luck :-) |

lots of places do dyes for scuffs etc. Liquid leather is probably the most popular http://www.liquidleather.com/scuffs.htm But LTT are well respected http://www.lttsolutions.co.uk/index....-products.html
Swissvax also do dyes and I've seen repair work on Ferrari bolsters which look perfect. It's pricey through http://www.swissvax.co.uk/product_de...ther_dye_150ml |

I've got black dakota leather in my car and Im using Guard X to treat the leather. It gives the seats a beautifull matte look. It comes as a spray in a can and its very easy to apply and leaves nothing behind but beautifull looking seats Its a bit pricey though..approx £20 a can lol

Clean the leather with Gliptone Leather Cleaner and protect with Gtechniq L1.
For scruffs/wear use the Gliptone Scuffmaster Kit. Clean the plastics with an APC and dress with Poorboys Natural Look Dressing or Espuma Dasheen.

Tesco Daisy APC is quite good and it's under £1.
Most of the time I use Megs APC or Espuma G202.

Oh no Jammy what have you done, It's worked a treat in mine, sounds like there is something on your dash that's not letting it soak in, or you have put too much on without letting it dry
It will come off with alcohol cleaner |
