So after months of headache. Finally got my car on the dyno and hopefully running strong and maintenance free.
My problem ended up being injector couplers.

Mods include: Rb turbos, vrsf dp's and 7inch fmic. Er chargepipe. Jb4 map 6 running 22psi midrange and 18 at redline. Ign adv started at 9 and finished at 12.5. This was with 4 gallons of e85 and 9.5 of 93.
I honestly thought there would be more power there but 470/502 isn't too bad.

You can make those hp/tq #'s on stock turbos with less boost.I would suggest adding a 255 inline pump and running a lot more E85 (12:4 E85:93). Should get you over 500hp

Did you dump the E85 and pump gas in right before the dyno? Or did you have time to drive around a bit to let the fuel mix?

Maybe that makes a difference? IDK

Who made the adjustments on your map6? Terry? Did you dyno your car in Lawrenceville?

With the huge variance in how dynos read(even when using the same brand) don't be disappointed by what may seem like "low numbers." You need a baseline to see how much power you gained but as long as the car feels strong and logs look good then that's what matters. The stock turbos will never make anywhere near 470whp on anything but a very high reading dyno.

This! I see alot of people that only post dyno numbers.

Not only is every dyno os different, but a dyno is a tool.

There was a Vargas stage 2 car that made 505-530 on the same dyno. Terry was tuning it, he was on e60, and his numbers were std compared to my sae numbers

Torpedoes of truth from Allen.

470whp on stock turbos is shenanigans.

Ken/Wedge makes around 480whp on his stock turbos and I've seen cars get dyno'd at EAS making around 460whp and EAS's dynojet doesn't read excessively high. I'll be getting my car dyno'd soon and I plan on being North of 450.

Not my car but solid #'s

What's the point of throwing out dyno number if you have no baseline to compare them to?

You don't know what a 335 baseline is by now?

That is my car. I made 507/532 and per Terry, RBs will make a little more power. Once you up your E85 and have Dave add some timing, you will be easily over 500 hp.

Is it best to get a baseline your self? Is it okay to go off of other stock n54's that dyno on that dyno as a baseline instead?

Garage List
I've made 425whp no meth on stockers. I haven't re-dyno'd with meth but its probably close to 430-435 is my guess.

So what are all these stock turbos making over 450whp trapping in the 1/4?

Those are solid RB numbers for the fuel you are running. You'll need more e85 and meth to get up and over 500whp.
