i have driven both and there both a toss up for speed and power. there about the exact same! the sstt is much easier to install but comes with a bigger price tag. and it has been out longer with more achievements i guess. only lately has the jb2 really been getting any credit tho.

JB2
For what it's worth, you will have spent more time reading up about which to get than the time it takes to install the JB2!!! Also, I believe the service is without rival and you can return it in the first 14 days if you don't like it. I don't think I know of anyone who has returned it or sold theirs... SSTT, on the other hand... |

ive driven both and i felt the SSTT even had a stronger pull down low but were about even. on dynos there about even and in real world racing, there neck and neck. some mebers have even show videos of this.
just to clarify.

i don't own the product but everyone that has driven both says the jsb2 consistently pulls harder and from seeing time slips, jsb2 and especially jsb2r is putting down better times... it seems to me terry is working harder at making his product perform, and it costs less.

True, it had a little more grunt down low but the jb2 pulled much harder midrange and up top IMO.The SSTT dropped off way to early for my taste.

the jb2R< should pull harder i can believe that. but from testimonials from people who acutally raced them side by side, there even. and the dyno shows about the same thing.
youtube SSTT vs jb2. some videos and there even a thread from the NY (i think) group who did those runs. just trying to state the facts.

guys when mr.5 tested them the jbs2 had 3whp more than the sstt and they had the same tq.
I have a turbo tuner and I like that it has a 1 min install time. but I have to give it up to the jbs2 for the price but mostly the ability to run the r switch when you have race gas. So even though I don't have a jbs2, for the price and reviews , I say go for it!

You should decide based on what you are trying to achieve and at what risk. Of course I am partial to our Turbo Tuner but also have recommended people buy other devices if they are looking for more power than the TT can deliver.
Our device was designed to fit a specific customer who was interested in a nice performance bump without risking their warranty. This is what the TT delivers and with well over a thousand on the road and now being sold by several BMW dealerships (2 more coming online next week) there is a certain comfort level Jeff Eurobahn |
