How Can you tell if you have Logic 7?

How Can you tell if you have Logic 7 installed??

If you have iDrive, you can see it when you click Info/Audio. You'll see the L7 logo in EQ mode. If you have no iDrive but you have an EQ, not just adjusting bass or treble, then you have it too.

turn it up really loud, if you blow a speaker, u dont have it
but really the logic 7 is standard on the 335 and available as a stand alone option on the 328, so if you have the window sticker it would be on there, also if you have iDrive you can go into the audio options and if u have logic 7 u get all kinds of equalizer controls and it should say logic 7. if u dont have iDrive go into the audio settings on the radio and see if it gives you the equalizer settings. i think that covers it, but there may be other easier ways, i'm sure somebody else will chime in with more

I see the Logic 7 logo on the interface, but I don't see BMW professional written on the surface of the player.

how do you not know what you have equipped with your car?

one easy way: if your rear doors have speaker grilles on them, then yes to Logic7. no rear door speaker = no Logic 7

If a Logic 7 sound system plays in the forest and no-one is there to hear it, should you just have saved the money and got the regular system?

I had the same question when I picked up my car.

You can also tell by the subs under the front seat. If you turn up the volume and bass, you can definitely feel them. The following thread also has some more info on this:

Also....you know that you have Logic7 if you have a center speaker on the dashboard, right above the center air vents. It's not standard on the 335i in Canada - part of premium package in the '07 model, and separate upgrade on the '08 model.
