Adding a Amp+Sub to Alpine Upgrade

Need some advice here peeps...

How would I run another amp to power an additional sub ?

Do I need a Technic Harness ?

Do I need to splice into a feed ?

I beilieve that the Techic harness is for the proper Alpine upgrade, although that doesn't stop you from splicing into the door speaker wires to feed new amps. Ony splice the fronts though, which can also be used to feed the subs, but the rears would distort.
