OEM backlit door sills quit working

All 4 are out, puddle/footwell/overhead lights work properly... maybe the inverter failed? I read through the doc on how they're installed, I still can't determine where the invertor etc are located or where to begin troubleshooting... any ideas?

Getting 12v source from kick panel lamp and glovebox lamp, no issues there... is the inverter shot?
