I had planned on getting 235/35/19 on the front, and 265/30/19 on the rears. However, the 265/30/19 size isn't available on Potenzas which is what I planned to get originally.

My wheels are 19x9+38 front, 19x10+34. If I go 275 in the rear, I feel 245 would be the match up front. I just don't know if 245 would be too flush up front? Anyone run 245/275 without adjustments?

So if I stick with 235 and 265, what's are some other tire options under $1000? Hankooks and Continentals DWs both had questionable reviews. Any input on those or other options at this size?

You might encounter some rubbing occasionally, when reversing and turning full lock and maybe some other weird cases. Also tyre will be close to to shocks inside.

You are kinda wrong about 245 being better match with 275. The 235/35/19 and 275/30/19 setup is way better combo since the diameter difference is only 0.077%.

I just assumed 235/265 and 245/275 were the standard pairings. I thought the sidewall angle on the 235 would be noticeably different when compared visually to the 275's sidewall. I would prefer to go with the better visual match.

I don't see why 245 and 275 wouldn't work. Your wheels are 1/2" wider than what most use a 235 and 265 on and the offsets aren't that aggressive. You could actually use a small spacer up front.

I'm just concerned that the 245 will either be too flush vs the rear or that if may rub if I lower the car.

If you want to do 235 and 265 you can use a 12mm spacer up front and a 10mm in the rear so they are flush. You would need to roll the rear fenders if you use spacers.

Yeah there is change it rubs in weird cases. Here is example of 245/275 setup http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...27&postcount=1. It might be visually better looking, but when talking diameter difference 235/275 is more closer. Both setup should work tho.

I don't want to roll or cut liners. I don't want exactly flush, just slightly inside what would be considered flush.

So I guess I'll skip Potenzas and get a 235/265 setup and see how that looks and plan on spacers (5mm-8mm or so) as a back up.

Any opinions in Hankooks v12 vs Continetal DWs?

If you don't want the wheels flush you might as well go with 245/275. Your offsets are 7mm less aggressive up front and 9mm less in the rear than that link. I have the same tire sizes but on 8.5 and 9.5" wheels and the sidewall looks like this | |

I just noticed that your car is E90 Lci, so 235/265 setups is better since the 275 at rear could possibly rub. Your 19x10 et34 will extend same place as 19x10 et26 at pre-lci e90.

This one is pre-lci e90 19x10 et28 with 265/30/19 and no rubbing or modifications.

I played it safe, then exceeded my budget, and just ordered 235/265 Michelin Pilot Sports from TireRack. I hope they are everything everyone says and worth the extra cost.

the fronts wheels will probably rub the strut on the inside though. i have a 18x9 et40 front and i couldnt get the wheel on because it was hitting the strut to much. you're going to need at least a 5-10mm spacer. but a 235 will fit a 9in wheel nice. i have conti tires and its the perfect amount of stretch. just a little bit so i dont rub at all with 10 mm spacers but still leaves a good amount of meat. 9et30 sits flush, maybe very slight poke. i used a 20mm spacer in the rear so effectively a 9 et20 which should have the exact poke as your 10 et 34.

edit: didn't realize you already ordered tires. but yea great choice. nice grippy tires!

I ran on 245/275 with 9" and 10".

The 245 did rub the shock, had to raise it a bit and was good to go.

Didn't notice that. In that case I think a 10mm spacer up front would be a good idea. The rear would be flush and most likely need the rear fenders rolled.

KW V1 coilovers.

Couldn't tell you the offsets, they were used 360 Forged wheels so I never got to find out. The fronts were decently aggressive though.

I'm going to stay with my sport suspension once the wheels and tires are installed and see what I need to do in terms of lowering and stiffening. I have some Eibach springs ready to go if I need a little drop.
