Sirius Retrofit Coding (Built in tuner)

So i just upgraded my CIC to a 2011 unit w built in Sirus tuner. I removed the sat prep option and added sat to the VO. I see Sat listed under radio options now, but no information on channels etc. I just wanted to confirm this is what it should look like prior to FSC activation? Or if i maybe did something wrong in my coding. Note: I didnt do process car, only updated CAS, FRM as i didnt want to lose my other coding.

Also just want to confirm where it may be best to get FSC code and activation.

This is what my screen looks like now:

I did that as well. I default coded the CIC after the VO Changes. (forgot to mention). Just not sure if this is what it should look like or if everything is blank simply because a FSC code may be needed.

No, FSC is not needed for Sirius, but some subscription I think. I will check this.
Have you added $655 to VO?

I think you should be able to get the preview channel regardless of subscription.

Requires FSC code 006F0001 to be installed to CIC. Then you will have both activation in coding and by SWT. As it stands now, you have activated or turned on the menus for the tuner. Once FSC is installed will be presented with data in the menus and will be able to access the receiver identifiers, necessary for subscription processing.

Got it - thank you. Any DIY methods for this or need to go to BMW or someone like BimmerRetrofit?

Since you have Sat radio in Menu, I believe you dont need FSC code. Call Sirius and buy the plan. Before you do it, send me PM with your CIC VIN and I will confirm if you need FSC code or not.

Do you see Weather Channel 184? This is only channel available without subscription.

Also add $653 to VO and code your CIC unit.

No idea how to get the fsc. Anyone know how to get one for xm activation and procedure to update?

PM your cic vin (7 digits) and I will tell you if your cic unit has Sirius activated or not. If not, I can get for your FSC code to activate Sirius.

Hey sorry to resurrect an old thread but I am having the exact same issue. I did a non-idrive to CIC retrofit (using an emulator). The doner vehicle was a 2010 but didn't have satellite activated. I enabled $655 and removed $693 and now have the option but no channels. Just what's shown in the pic above.

Do I need an FSC code to activate the Sirius channels even tho I have an emulator? If so, any help would be appreciated!
