v2.0.2 6MT Roadspeed input maps now posted

Here: http://www.vishnutuningforum.com/for...read.php?t=322

Summary:
Just removed the v2.0.2 map that we posted a couple of days ago. This is because it was not set up to accept a calibrated Road Speed signal input. This is no biggie unless you want to do things like roadspeed datalogging or speed delimiting for dyno use.

So i posted up two maps that do just this. One is for road use (speed limit enabled). The other is officially only for dyno use (speed limit disabled).

If you are not intercepting the road speed signal, either map can be used. It doesn't matter. But if you are, make sure you use the appropriate map. Removing the factory speed limiter is dangerous and irresponsible.

Cheers,
Shiv

can i have some more info on this? you mentioned something in another thread about datalogging for optimal shift points. (the more detail, the better btw)

also, OT: please disregard this quote in the V2 Documentation thread, i got the replacement cables today when i got home, i was just a little worried because i never got a confirmation. i also like the ups label on the dhl envelope.. Thanks Dustin! you can again stop laughing at what happened

If I were to intercept the road speed signal, can I use the spare green wire from the V.2 install that was replaced? Secondly, what port of the procede? What # on the ecu?? For dyno (non-road) use of course

For Dyno use only, you would indeed use the spare/original green wire left over from the v2 install And you would intercept the speed signal wire from the factory ECU connector.

Then, the black wire (in the green loom) would go into Pin 4 on the black connector. The green wire (in the green loom) would go into Pin 9 on the black connector.

That's it. For dyno use only, of course.

Shiv,
Question regarding torque settings. If running say vp109 or equiv. would it be possible to increase to 100% torque? When do u recommend running 100%?

Shiv and Kyleh4852,

Thanks for the info.

Shiv,

What would happen if I did this and did not use the road speed input map??
