N54 Solenoid Bypass

Can anyone please tell me the steps to do the Solenoid Bypass on the N54? Just put a JB+ on and would like to do this, but all of the diy links are dead. Thanks for any help!

They're dead because Terry doesn't recommended doing it.

Just letting you know that the manufacture of your tune no longer recommends doing it. That said, from what I recall, it goes like below. If not, someone speak up and I'll update it, and keep it available on my site.

Why would you guys do this? It will cause the wastegate to stay fully closed when the engine is on. The vacuum pump pulls vacuum ~22inHG at idle. The wastegate only needs 5.9inHG to close. I don't think the tune can control the vacuum pump since it's entirely belt driven by engine speed.
