A Little Help With Tires (ET22 18x9.5)
The car is a pre-LCI E90 335i RWD. After winter I put on stock 162s (front: ET34 18x8 rear: ET37 18x8.5) with stock RFTs (front: 225/40/18 rear: 255/35/18) and a 20mm spacer on the rears. Also took out springs before winter so I am on stock sports suspension with this setup. Have zero issues, no fender roll, no rub ever, quite pleased.
Now I have just got a square set of VMR 718s (ET22 18x9.5), so I was wondering what tires would fit my car in its current form. Can I still use the 225s up front? My main concern is with the rears, I am planning to put on 275/35/18 but quite concern with rubbing issues. Do I have to roll my fenders to run 275s? Or will 265s be a better fit? Did a search but mostly were E92 or E90 LCIs. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

You'll either need camber plates up front or a spacer in the rear to make it look right. At stock camber the front will poke and the rear would be flush. I'd go with 235 and 265 for the tire sizes. The front will be stretched and the rear won't be.

What size spacers do you recommend for the rears? So 275s won't fit?

With camber plates you can pull the front wheel in so it is flush, and the rear wheel is flush without spacers. |

I think you meant 275? Thanks a lot, will update this thread once I get the wheels fitted.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=299965 If you get camber plates in the front you can bring the front wheel in so it's flush and you won't need spacers in the rear. |

After rolling the fenders there seems to be a bit more room at the back, what size spacers do you recommend to match the front? |

5-10mm spacer. Kinda depends at how much you have gap.http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...measure_lg.jpg I would try 5mm first. The 265/35/18 doesn't really have stretch at 9.5 wide.
