tapping 12 v logic 7 or dirac

I was at an installer today and he couldn't find a 12v wire to tap in the corner passenger rear seat area I've heard people use. He had to tap a 12 v from obd 2 port. He tested them all and couldn't find 12v in rear seat. Where is this supposed wire?

Never found thin black wire running from rear passenger seat to trunk are. Only thin black wire had two smaller wires within and didn't test as 12 v
