I have an '11 e90 with Harman Kardon. My amp fan runs constantly even after only short periods of time with the radio at low to moderate volumes. It continues to run for a period after the car has been shut off.

Do any of you with the HK system have this same issue? I am just curious if this is normal operation.

I have previously experienced static out of the speakers on extremely hot days after the car has been parked in the sun that cleared after I restarted the system by holding down the volume button on the radio. Of course, the dealer was "unable to duplicate."
