error codes
Alright so I got the error codes and this is what came up:
1) P0030 2) P3026 3) P2234 1 seems to have to do with the Heater control? I wasn't able to find anything on 2 & 3? I ran the test twice but the same codes came up.. ![]()

Dont take it to the dealer for that, just have the codes scanned for now and i'm sure Viral will take care of you.

Yellow warning lights means you can drive, but safely; and when you get red warning lights, you're supposed to pull on the side of the road and call assistance. So if your SES is yellow; you're good to go.

Its not causing issues, but if any part of ignition (coil or plugs) or induction (pcv line, maf or o2 sensor) shows any sign of fatigue before the tune, the symptoms are just more obvious since the engine is now exploited to his true potential.
Dont quote me on that, but that's what I think is happening after the tune.

Update:
I finished replacing the spark plugs. Although the idle is somewhat smoother, unfortunately the choppy acceleration is this here ![]() ![]() -Also I know coils were mentioned earlier in this thread but so far: - no codes - no misfires - no sideways shaking (that i can feel anyway) - while i was changing the plugs I gave them a visual inspection and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

You should post a video if possible of this choppy acceleration. I am having a hard time understanding what exactly choppy acceleration is? I would have taken it directly to the place that did the tune!

I have the same problem. It first appeared when I installed the PBX. And went away when I removed it. I could still feel it, but it was a lot less present. And now with the AA tune, it came back; so I guess i'm gonna try the coils plugs sooner or later.
But I'm really not sure if its gonna do anything; I only got 46k miles on my 06.

The best way I can describe "choppy acceleration" is by rpms at WOT: 1-3.5k: everything is normal (smooth and power feels about right) ~4k: We are still accelerating but it feels like I let off to about half throttle for half a second 4-5k: The engine feels like it surges and "makes up for" the hesitation around 4k 5k: hesitation similar to at 4k 5-7k: once again, everything is normal (smooth and power feels about right) Hope this helps

Throttle body reset
I decided to try a throttle body reset to see if it would help with any of the problems. To my surprise it fixed about 90% of the problem!
![]() Here are the steps if you'd like to try it for yourself: ****Stay away from your break pedal!**** 1. Insert fob into slot (if you have a key, turn it 2 clicks to the right) 2. Press Start/Stop Engine button (no break) 3. Depress gas pedal all the way down for ~30s (if you listen, you will hear adjustments) 4. Press Start/Stop Engine button (no break) 5. Release gas pedal. 6. Wait about 2 min 7. Start car The reset also made the throttle response MUCH better (kinda like when i first got the AA tune). Hope this solves others problems as well ![]()

Tried it and didnt do sh*t
![]() I felt the throttle softer then before. (Placebo effect I guess) But I didnt drive it much. Went a quarter mile from home and went back home. Anyway i'm gonna check my PCV line on thuesday to see if that can be the issue; if not, i'm going to swap plugs and then coils until its gone.

I got another issue on the car now. I have some intermitent issues that happened to me three times so far. Once before the 3 stage manifold swap and twice since then. So Its more related to the tune then the swap itself. When I'm first at the red light on a complete stop and I want to step on it hard, the car have a major shutter and then procede to the acceleration. Almost like I would be hitting the brakes while releasing the clutch. So i've tried to go easy on the setup at first, but the tune should be fully adapted to both setups when those issues happened.
I'm not sure how to approach the issue. I'm gonna start by scanning the codes tonight and see if any codes pop up! I will reset all adaptations also and start from scratch. I've sent the details to AA but they seems to be kinda busy since I have a hard time getting answers to my emails. Tried calling too without any success. My only fear is that the tune was made using 93 oct fuel. My issue really have something to do with ignition; plugs, coils, mapping, fuel... it could be anything related. I'll keep an eye out for an answer from AA because I need to confirm some details about the applied tune to help me progress with my diagnosis.
