Would that work on a 335i? How much is it?

** Built in sprinkler system for dispersing water over the ice for max efficiency.

Self contained water/air unit with a pump on the backside.

IAT's in the 60's on a GTX42R running 8.8's on a 79 degree day through a 4 cylinder at 45 psi w/o Nitrous. We have another car that runs 8.3's with a similar setup.

Michael
That is a very nice core. I'm about 95% sure I am going to air to water on my MKIII Jetta I'm currently building. I'm just a little concerned about how effective it would be on a car that goes on a road course. What are you thoughts on that?

Meth is not going to lower the temps under ambient or near as consistent as a water/air intercooler. That thing is not restrictive at all, it's over 6" thick.

True, but meth is going to be more versatile application with the added benefit of a slight octane boost and you don't have to refill the "ice" after every pass. Do you need an additional radiator fan with that tank?

Maybe for a street car. For a dedicated drag car consistency is key.

You don't need to add ice. You mix in chemicals that make the water super cool, like would glycol in your coolant system. Another benefit, pending placement, would be the ability to less charging piping which reduces lag. In my application, I'll have a total of 12-16" of piping. It should add a good amount of responsiveness.

BTW, this car will be at the event running if anyone wants to see. It should be down consistent 8.3's

Posts or shameless advertisement plugs? No one would mind if this was in the correct sub forum though.
