I'll chime in too
OEM for me, or a rebuild of existing if I ever need them done. At nearly 70k miles so far and still going strong, with enough power, they've proved themselves to be pretty reliable. |

Don't think this vendor was really that far out of line, the rest is hearsay, and hey, don't mod your car because you have to pay to play and you are playing with fire always.

This is the common theme for all Stage 2+ been selling them for well over a year, have not had a single set come back for smoking, or failure. One person in Texas lost his motor, and took a set out, and another had an oil leak, besides that 100% success rate with close to 75 sets sold. People seem to forget, in 3 years 500+ sets sold of all stages, yet you can count threads like this on one, maybe two hands. That's a very positive success rate, and honestly the best the N54 market has to offer on performance hybrids. Kien was offered a very fair resolution, but he decided he enjoyed internet bashing over taking the resolution, so we removed the offer from the table. None of this violated our warranty policy, and we are still the ONLY N54 manufacture to offer refunds of any kind for people that have issue. If you do not believe me, try getting a refund from another turbo vendor, it wont happen. Mob mentality on the internet, nor haters who have never dealt with us changes that fact. We stand behind every product we make, and will gladly answer questions via email.

Vargas did you pay this guy for a review like you said you would? Good or bad?
It's so weird with your marketing program and so many turbos sold yet there are no reviews. You would think customers would jump to get their own money back after purchasing your turbos. You keep up with that award willing personality and professionalism! edit: As far as bashing Jason should see what VTT says about him on the other forums. Talk about calling the kettle black. All this guy does is internet bash and attack other vendors...

As far as the bounty, its a well known phenomenon that happy people do not post, and almost never take the time to make unboxing videos etc. Either it is too much work, or they just plain do not care about such things. The bounty program was designed to help give incentives to do so, which worked out great. The product review bounty was clearly stated as secondary to what the bounty program was for, PERFORMANCE records gleaned. For that purpose it worked wonders, we now have the Stock frame 1/4 record because of it, the stock turbo 1/4 record because of it, as well as trap records, many race submissions. The bounty program was actually a huge success, and continues to be. |

The guy who jsut recently parted out his motiv kit because he crashed the car, did a whole thread about receiving the kit and took loads of pictures. The thread is floating around. Even did a DIY thread to install the kit. Frankly, if people were happy they would come back to give reviews, especially on forums. People who mod cars, majority come to forums for research, product advice, and ultimately to purchase the product at a discounted rate rather than going straight to the vendors site. Regardless of the rating of a product, the buyer almost always comes back to the forum to either support the product or bash it if it is shizen, if they are forum members. SO..... long story short. Forums will have reviews, bad and good, of a product a vendor is selling. Simple.

There are several "well founded" reasons why VTT has such a poor reputation. Especially when it comes to reliability. However, in the spirit of trying to be fair... I give VTT an "A" for effort in trying to push the platform ahead. IMHO, Tony has had several descent ideas (fuel and turbo related) but never seems to work all the kinks out before he moves onto the next project. Hence the reason he continues to have problems. His new manifolds are an interesting idea. I'm not sure why twin hybrid guys would want/need more than what's currently available at 700rwhp? Most of the twin guys prefer the quick spool which is the first thing you will lose. Plus the single kits have come down in price so the money isn't really a concern. Most guys looking for 700rwhp+ buy a single. Not to mention at those power levels you will need to build everything else. EI: Tranny, driveshaft, axles, motor, etc. Why get a twin turbo set up with more lag, spend thousands on building the rest of the car... Only to be restricted by what you can fit in the engine bay with twins? |

To the contrary, there are countless reviews on this forum highlighting both positive and negative experiences with vendors and their products. This is a community of members who want to help one another. Then again you've been busy bashing this forum and its members on BB to understand how this community works. According to you, all we care about is our angel eyes. Why even waste your time trying to save face with simpletons like us anyways?

Very well stated. Tony is getting exactly what he deserves. If he really cared about his costumers he wouldn't go after them if they write a review that he doesn't like. It really sad.

It's really sad because Tony is the guy who consistently goes into competing vendors' threads and bashes their products. Then when a customer bashes his products he leaves them high and dry. It's hard to see people still buying his products and keeping him in business.

Wouldn't twins spool quicker than a large single? You got two smaller turbos versus a larger turbo. And yes I do understand that you are splitting the banks to 3 cylinders per turbo versus 6 cylinders to one large.
