Glad you all had loadsa fun

My '5 is back alive and kicking! Fanbelt snapped not causing any damage (lucky!) so drove home an interesting route which was nice.

Tomorrow I'm taking off the stupid bike holder the old man put on the car, giving it a wash and touching in the few little marks it has.

Monday it's going to the garage for new belts

Also ordered and waiting on -

Few spares for a little repair kit

Some new alloy wheels
Front little black valance thing that just brings the front bumper down a little bit

Just got back. Had a really good time and it was great meeting everyone new faces and old so to speak. We've driven through some fantastic scenery and along some brilliant roads and the weather was perfect, all on one tank of fuel as well!

Glad you got back ok Nicola and all is well with the MX5.

Thanks to Gav for all his hard work organising today and hopefully by now they're all tucking into a good curry.

I'm knackered actually lol.

Don't know if you covered the route I went home but some lovely scenery , the RAC man recommended it to RAC man!

All is well with the engine which is the main thing, getting the belts changed on Monday.

I've had a rather tiring day too, couldn't be bothered to make any tea so went round my mums, she thought it was rather funny that I went off for my din dins rather than wait about for them and said that I could have not missed the hoon had I waited, true I suppose!

What a fantastic day!! Sitting here in my kitchen listening to LOUD rock music and drinking....wine...not JD for once, mellowed out on great company, and good curry!! Great photos so far and more to come.

Big respect to Tony for driving all the way fron London to pick Viv up and then down to Bradford and doing the whole route and curry! Not surprised you were knackered mate!

Great to meet new faces and old. Great cars, great people and no egos! Always a good thing. Who got air over those bumps?!!!

Brilliant day yesterday

Stunning roads (particularly the section over Malham Tarn where the scenery was amazing) and some stunning cars as well. I loved the reaction we got through some of the villages as a long line of shiny BMs hurtled through at speed. Even trying to pass 20mph Vectras was fun.

Sorry I couldn't make the curry - I could have done with that after the 250 miles I did yesterday.

Really good to meet you all and looking forwards to the next one.

We had a lot of fun guys, thanks for organising Gav and also for cutting us in to the various bits we didnt book etc.

Was nice to meet everyone, would be happy to do it again.

Well chosen meeting spot, good route, good choice of pub, great roads and a nice curry house for the last bit of the evening.
