It's quite humid and hot here. I got my first Z2 like 3 years ago and the second 2 years ago. The first was easy to remove. But the second, the pink colored one (I believe Zaino re-formulated it?), it was hard to remove. So I stopped using Zaino afterwards and am happy with Poorboys ever since.

High humidity makes it very hard for it to dry properly. I also find the pink Z2 more difficult to work with than Z5.

It'll only haze over that fast if you're using ZFX. Otherwise it takes a couple of hours to remove really easily. Z5 takes a little longer to haze over than Z2. The new Z5pro hazes pretty quickly though.

Well, I am going to go with the "easiest answer is probably the right one" and say you are probably applying it too thick. When applying the Zaino should be almost transparent, hard to see unless you look at it in the right light. If you can see an obvious layer, it's much too thick.

FWIW, I use Z2/Z5 without ZFX and buff them off after 15 minutes, I apply with a PC, a super thin layer. Removal is effortless.

Another fwiw; but I am not a huge zaino fan, I just don't know why people think it is hard to use.

I always use it with ZFX, I just assumed everybody does.

Almost. No detailer has posted results either out of fear it would put him/ or his product sponsors out of business OR thought it was such a piece of junk and totally not worth their time. Imagine what would happen to Zaino if this stuff worked as advertised?

Zaino is not hard to use. the initial application may be a bit tedeous, but after that its fine. People think its hard because you have to mix the sealant (Z-2) with the accletarator (ZFX-1). All you do is put a few ounces of Z-2 or Z-5 (swirl mark remover) into the mixing bottle and add a few drops of the ZFX-1 and shake it around. Very easy
After the initial application, you can layer on coats of Z-2 when ever you want. (Well as long as the paint is clean).

I bought the same kit. I tried it this weekend for the first time. Make sure to wipe the SG off almost as soon as you put it on. I followed the directions that came with the kit and let it sit for at least 20 minutes. It was a real pain to get off. I think you should only let it sit if you are going to use a PC buffer to get it off.
