I do actually know that having driven enough. Still hasn't got a clutch pedal Carl as you know.

Like I said, some of these newer engines suit the dual clutch systems.

I think you're going to love your new M3 Steve. Like you I tend to prefer a manual gearbox but looking at things dispassionately, both the M3 and RS5 are high revving N/A V8's. Technology has now given us these new dual clutch systems and in all honesty I think those gearboxes suit these engines.

Plus, you're moving to a car with correct suspension (camber etc) set up so no dangerous inside tyre wear (gets my back up that really does), N/A so no probs. associated with some 35i engines, and no nasty runflats..........

Helen , funny you should mention 'probs associated with the 35i engine' - mine car has been pretty fault free until last week when i started getting long cranks - could have just left it as its getting sold in a fortnights time but i took it in as i wouldnt sell a car that was not 100%.
Fuel pump was replaced and another pump in the engine bay (not sure which, my German is pretty basic!)
I honestly wouldnt be happy owning my 335 out of warranty.

When are you test driving the RS5, have dealers in the UK got them yet?

Can't say my German extends to car parts tbh........missed that one at school lol.

No dealer has one yet and I believe it may be August time at the earliest, if not later, all depends on how Audi decide to do it apparently. I've got my name down locally as both Hull and Grimsby Audi are both now part of the JCT group so take your pick so to speak. Chris (Realthing) has put his order in already.

Aye it is Steve. As one of the Audi dealers told me, they are often the last to know when the car is arriving at the dealership, got the impression it was a bit of an annoying point for them.

Well, the R8 has certainly grown on me have to say, only the V8 mind, but aside of the fact they 'aint cheap new, they're not cheap secondhand either! Hence I'm awaiting the RS5 tbh as a sporty car with four seats etc. I do fancy having a go in the M3 with DCT though just to see. If money was no object then back to a Porsche Turbo - no messing lol.

BUT the fact you have said you lied means that the truth is the opposite, or it could be a double bluff..............no, I'll stick with my first thought........intriguing.
