Yea weird stuff going on. In the bay area, it's cold in the morning and really nice by the afternoon. Today for example, I had to run the hose on my car cuz it was covered in ice. By lunchtime, it's clear and pretty sunny out.

This summer is going to be even stranger. I love global warming...it brings a surprise to each season.

something is terribly wrong with the weather...
It's time for the magnetic poles of the Earth to flip. We'll see the northern lights at the equator for a couple hundred years. The supervolcano at Yellowstone National Park is ready to blow. An asteroid is poised to smash the Earth and the sun is ready to go nova.

Just looked at all the pictures. What you all got in LA is referred to as a 'dusting'

Kinda reminds me though of the time the fiancee and I went down to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. It 'snowed' one of the days (like 0.5") and they basically shut the city down. Most irritatingly, they shut down the causeway (I-10) out of the city, and we had to take a backroad into Mississippi. I knew that warm weathered people aren't used to snow, but jeez...

I thought all roads into Mississippi were backroads.

At the end of the day it's a "forbidden love" story, of which there have been plenty in the past (black guy / white girl, rich girl / poor guy, romeo / juliet). It just so happens that the reason for their forbidden love is because they're both dudes, and it's in the south, and it's a twenty year time period starting in the early 60's.

If you like love stories, you'll like this movie. If you hate love stories, you'll hate this movie regardless of the fact that it has a gay theme.

Didn't see the movie. Will never see the movie. Making a comparison equating homo activity with heterosexual love is sick. [And I don't mean "sick" as in "those rims look sick" or "that's a sick ride." In this instance sick means disgusting, perverted, reprobate... etc.]
