I wonder if there will be 2 different issues going on with this new Progman 25.

Those that have the new NAV hardware (car built after March 2007) with Progman 25 built in: Will those have faster Nav processors with the benefits of POI

Those that have Older NAV hardware (car built prior to March 2007) these people go to dealer to get Nav Progman 25 updated to existing older Nav: Will these have the same slow Nav but benefit of POI.

I'm curious about this since mimi74 just stated it still the same ole slow Nav even with the new Progman 25 update.

So the iDrive wheel just clicks with a sound when you get to the end now instead of Force-feedback?

I am negotiating for an E90 (328i) with my dealer. Production week is 8 (Feb 20, 2007). Do you think it would have got new iDrive hardware ? Factory is Regensburg, Germany.

Can you suggest?
I can pass on this one and I am ready to wait another 5-6 weeks to get new hardware & faster idrive.

I know that it missed 6FL option. But if it has the new iDrive hardware then I will close the deal this weekend.

If it missed 6FL, im pretty sure it still has the older iDrive set up.
