Dude...do you work for the IRS? Kidding man, just bustin' your chops...really, I think more than a few JB2+ users have put up low to mid 12s...close to Terry's car (+ silmilar dynos). Given enough time, he figures out a ways get faster and faster (DP+HHR combos+dual cones+ DRs+race gas+sick 60'ft times+no sport or prem=lighter wt etc). I will agree with you on one point...of course its in Terry's best interest to keep tinkering, keep perfecting launch techniques, and to push his car to edge. Its good business...not shady business. Oh, and FTR, hit him up with the mods listed above, and he'll get your car movin' for sure. |

That's not my problem. I'm not selling a product. You CAN duplicate them. No one has just yet. So until someone does, I reserve my judgement. I'm not one biased one way or the other. I could care less really. I'm just telling you what it takes for me to believe the lowest times these days.

I really like seeing people flogging the crap out of their 6AT cars with race gas and drag radials. Primarily because if anyone's going to break their 6AT, it's going to be someone running an extreme tune and drag radials. Makes me feel pretty safe on PS2s at my V2-only tune @ 111mph...
So much for those people who said the 6AT couldn't take much more than a moderate boost increase! |

The car ran it, no tricks. There was no nos. Its all math and the timeslip tells the story. I filmed the run, looked at the engine and tires. Terry has been at nearly all the track events I attend. I did not believe the carcould achieve this either, figured it was running spray , but hell we all saw his routine stood around his car for hours and talked. His driving is what got the car in the 11.80's , it was a good day. This may not be matched but whether it is or not is moot, we know it can run what it did because we saw it happen. You should be proud to own a car that is so easily modded to achieve similar times to cars costing 90k more! 11.80's do not grow on trees and it surely is not gonna happen alot. I betcha, it takes a while to match or beat this time. This is a 12.1-12.40's car @112-114. The 11.89 is a product of the 60ft being OUTSTANDING. |

The car was run with a 26x11.5 slick. The side wall is tall and the rubber very soft on super light Kosei 17" rims.. This alone was worth .3-4. When Hotrod placed the slick on his 335 he went from 12.60 to 12.24! Da improved slightly but no way enough to gain this much in ET. so air likely was worth .1 and the tires .26 |

The driver of that Mustang had a huge bottle of nos in the passenger side, the seat was removed, he had a roll cage and told me he normally hits 11.40's. I was focused on the BMW so I did not see the actual #s on the filmed pass, I am almost certain I heard the car spray and it was definately reeling the BMW in but he failed to close fast enough. I agree he was suprised and the great launch by the 335 caused him to shift less smoothly.
So according to the driver this Mustang is an 11.40-11.90's car. His time would be on the slips hmm let me check drag times, crud no luck. I am pretty certain he was muttering that he had a shi**y pass a 11.85 .. On Terrys record run he did not even leave and was beaten by nearly 1 second by a car that ran 11.95@115. He left .8 after the green. so you can be waxed onthe video and still achieve a lower ET |

You are right, only time will tell. For all we knows this could be fine as long as you are not constantly running 15psi+.....

This is a great accomplishment for the BMW 335i. Thank you Terry for achieving these times.
We all enjoy seeing a good fast car, no matter what tune they are running, so again somebody tell Terry CONGRATS. |
