^ that would make it a little more confusing, then each of the dashes would represent boost amounts in the decimals rather than just 1, 2, 3 psi etc

+1
One idea we entertained was to represent boost in terms of bar (1bar=14.5psi). So full the full max reading ("1") would indicate 1 bar of boost. The only problem is that many of us run more than 1bar/14.5psi of boost when running on meth/race gas. And while the gauge needles can point much higher tan the max printed value, it will be difficult to quantify actual boost when the needle is floating around in an unprinted area.

Shiv, what do you say at the last bit in the video. "For the wind"?

I don't think cpe intentions were to tell vishnu to fuck off lol. I think they have a patent date as proof that they are not copying what the procede is doing, but thats just my opinion

I had conversations over the phone with shiv and adrian back in spring of 2009 where they were telling me about this feature coming down the pipe... I don't think there is any doubt that vishnu was the first with this approach to canbus based gauge takeover from a piggyback.

who cares? lol
I am simply talking about guages moving to show boost.

We all know vishnu was the first with CAN, the others followed/copied.

Back on topic, im really shocked how responsive this fuel guage thing is. Just reving my car in nuetral the thing ramped up to 8psi in a heart beat and shot right back down to zero when the bov went off. Impressive

Ever thought of a digital boost gauge? Like have it read boost where it says current miles until empty, average mpg, etc?

my god I go stock for a few days and it feels like Christmas all over again. Since I have a boost gauge already the feature is not useful to me just yet, but when meth flow, IATs, et. al are ready for this, this will be a SICK feature!

Yup - "for the wind" is the command that deactivates the PROcede's voice activated throttle control

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm telling you guys, there is some voice command coming to the Procede we still don't know about.

Shiv, does these maps have the extra low rpm torque you mentioned a few days ago?

Nope. Tune-wise, the current maps are the same as they have been for months. Just new features enabled.

Shiv, did you see the new thread with CP-E boost guage?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409131

WTF? Honestly, can you really patent such a thing?

And also, their boost gauge using the speedo is terrible. I was really confused, and I'd be more confused not knowing how fast I'm going.

I have the rixster gauge and just tried out this new procede feature and its very accurate. I LOVE having the digital with peak recall and the analog as well. I think its easier to see how well the car is holding boost. I love this feature. Very accurate and responsive. great job vishnu!
