But so are driving lessons so that we can drive as good as Shiv can. Should we also add them into the equation?

This thread has really gone to silly land.

He's not selling 1/4 mile times or 60-130 times, he's selling a turbo kit.

It hasn't gone that far (yet). Part of the sale is the expectation that the car will be able to run in the 10s. Shiv has made this statement many times. Driver ability is a factor, of course. But people get better with time and like I said before, if I were to buy this kit I'd definitely spend a bit extra to learn how to handle the power.

I don't think it's unreasonable to ask what is necessary to replicate the results...

Turbo for sure. You already know the Skins are going to be the worse team in the NFC East.

But what if i want to run 4 spare tires on my car, is there an option for drag radials on the skinny wheels?

Dean you need to drink some of that there RG3 koolaid. Let me tell you its delicious.

On a side note, thanks for getting the first released and working single turbo out on the market Vishnu. I can't wait to see one of these on the east coast somewhere. Hopefully this lights the fire for more competition and advancement of the n54 platform.

Point taken.

Just don't be surprised the first time someone starts a post called "Just got my single installed, why am I not as fast as x or z?!?"

When it comes to humans, assume they're stupid until proven otherwise.

Hi guys-- We will not be selling individual components of the turbo system (i.e., manifold only, everything but the turbo, etc,.) Our primary goal is to ensure that every single single turbo car works as intended, makes the expected power and does it safely. This is why we are selling the single turbo kit as a full kit, not in bits and pieces.

What about the people who already bought a proceed?

Yeah…I've come to my senses... ten home games for 9k. I don't think so! A single upgrade of some sort is the more viable choice.

As explained in the order page, if you already have a Procede or pwm meth kit, you don't need to repurchase them. I was just referring to the individual components of the single turbo kit itself.

Shiv, is it not possible to use the windshield washer reservoir for methanol with the single turbo kit?

It is possible. In fact, I did that for the first 5k miles of running the single turbo. I switched to trunk mount primarily for the added flow benefits which comes into play when flowing more than 1000cc/min (4 nozzles). At these high flow levels, you really need the pump gravity fed by the bottle (mounted close by).

I have the XI sport package with 162s, too. My point is that some people actually kind of enjoy driving a car with way more horsepower than suspension.

Shiv
That AND the recent threads on under-hood meth fires really means EVERYONE should use a trunk mount kit. It takes an hour or two extra, but you can rest assured you won't burn up your engine from a meth leak. These cars are only getting older, and methanol likes to deteriorate rubber seals.

Can't upgraded twins run single's firmware if flashed the same way as single?
