I agree, I think the PE is more refined and has a great note to it.

I had a PE on my car. Great sound from it. Not to loud (but noticeable) and definitely not a stock note to it; however, I removed it and went straight 3" pipes all the way from the cat, which gave the car a real noticeable performance gain and major sound difference.
