It's your duty to share the name of the dealer so others can avoid shitty businesses. What is there to be afraid of?

I can't speak for you... however, if I was in your shoes and I had any sneaky suspicion about anything strange with my brand new car, i would walk away from the deal. Because once you own that car, you will forever wonder and have buyers remorse

It's not like you are buying a ice mocha frap at starbucks where if the barista didn't make it well your going to go back to them and toss the drink against the wall and demand another one (most people will just be like whatever and finish the drink). Your talking about a very expensive car in this bad economy and you are paying FULL PRICE. Walk away from this car (get the vin if you can so at least the forum folks know which one to watch out for after you get your replacement or your money back). Once you have all your money in your hand and/or your replacement vehicle... please do post up where and what vin this car is (nothing bad can come to you... since you are done with your transaction).

But I do agree with other folks on here that the dealer is making an effort to take care of you. I also agree that it's not the dealers fault... but then again a huge quality failure for that vehicle to show up in front of you in this condition (lots of people who deal with vehicles professionally for a living missed that defect which is not instilling confidence to me).

That's why I personally just buy low mileage CPO's because someone already took the depreciation hit and if I get some light damage i won't be so anal about it. Keep the CPO for 2 or 3 years and then trade it in for another CPO

Regards,
Faz

well I mean i like new stuff too... but I'm not a richie-rich kid :P I have to have value in my purchases until I can get out of the rat race and not care about the cost of things. At which point I would gladly be willing to take the depreciation hit for others
