The fitment would be the same (equally bad, in this case) on a sedan and coupe. The only thing different is the length of the tips; all the hangers, etc. before that are in the same location.

OH hell. Forget it then. I called Autoanything, the vendor I bought it through. They contact Borla and work something out. Should know something in 24-48hrs. Guessing they're going to say it's used and I own their chinsey product. The barbed hangers really ticks me off, b/c that was one thing I wanted, nice hangers. Not metal rod. Their system looks like a custom muffler shop job, but clamped, and won't line up.

I've always had to trim or modify Borla & Magnaflow systems as well! And I hate slip fits as well. They use them because they are much cheaper to produce vs. flanges.

I have a FedEx Tracking # for my HKS supposedly. I think this is the last HKS Sedan exhaust in the country. What a debacle. Should have left the stock exhaust on and saved my money and just gone to the strip club or gym with all my spare time. Jeez, what a PITA. Everything I've modified on this car is a pain. When I had rims put on the Benz dealer rashed up a rim. I get an exhaust and this crap happens. Window tint and LED lights and maintenance went smooth.

Overall this system sucks on fitment. My plan is to get a refund on it being it's literally new. I spent 4hrs on the intial install and about another 4hrs today trying to get things to work right. That's a lot of effort and time on my behalf.

Probably going with a Vanguard b/c they includ some shims to re-install the tunnel plate which obviously most other people didn't even mention. Sorry, but I had to rant... I was all torqued up earlier today. Red hot.
Sorry you had a bad experience with the installation of our exhaust. Please take advantage of our warranty and give us a call at 877-GO-BORLA, ask for Greg Weiss in customer service. Or, if you prefer you can email me directly at davidb@borla.com. We will ensure that the issue is resolved to your satisfaction.

Cheers

With all due respect this is absolutely incorrect.

Every exhaust system Borla designs incorporates a specific muffler that is built and used only for that application/engine configuration. After over 30 years we have developed over 500 different muffler configurations and we continue to start from scratch with every new exhaust system we design.

As I mentioned in my previous post we stand behind our products with a million mile, no-hassle warranty. No exhaust manufacturer on the planet has a better warranty. Please hold us accountable for any potential issues and give us the opportunity to resolve the issue by calling our customer service department.

Cheers

Email sent David. I really would like to know about that tunnel brace. As previous posters have mentioned, shimming it and using longer bolts or spacers weakens it greatly.

UPDATE: Borla is sending me a complet re-worked system, which will take about 2 weeks. Funny thing now is I have a HKS system in the living room still banded up.
