I haven't seen oem piano black, but certainly I was looking for piano black myself and this is what I wanted.

what size vinyl is required to wrap all the trim pieces?

also the only thing about piano black (my family member has it on his x5m) is that it has metal flakes in it. I don't think the scotchprint 1080 is metallic.

its probably not piano black then, just gloss black.
I had that in my 128i, and it was ugly.
I bought 60"x60" and that should cover whole front/back and window trim as well. I will be wrapping window in summer time.

i remember reading somewhere on this forum that its the plastic piano black version has metal flakes in it and the real wood piano black trim is just a deep gloss black with no flakes...

was thinking of using the same vinyl to do my window trim aswell, hopefully will get round to it before the summer though

looks good. I had the silver in my m5 and didn't like it. for an m5 felt it was better choice than the wood. Got the wood in my 335 and like it more. The aluminum gets boring.

FYI. BMW also has a "cube aluminum" trim option.. Here is an example
