Never been pulled over in pa with 5% all around on my other/previous cars. Only time I was pulled over was a state trooper noticing I had windshield tint on my suv while I was stuck in traffic. Didn't help that it was raining and the rest of the car has 5% on fronts and 2% in rear with black int.

All comes down to if the cop wants to pull you over or not....

I've never been cited for 20% with light interior even when I've been pulled over for speeding. But I've been pulled over just for tint in my ex's car with 20 and dark. So far I've been fine with 30 and dark on my current

FYI, I called up both the PA DMV and the PA DOT. Both of them stated that after-market tints are illegal for passenger cars while driving on the highway. Nothing lower than 70% can be placed on any window of a passenger car. They also stated that it does not matter if my tints are legal in my bona fide registered state- any vehicle, regardless of which state plates it displays, must abide by the PA rules when passing through their jurisdiction. NOTE: THIS IS ONLY FOR PA HIGHWAYS.

Here is the official DMV Tint Fact Sheet: http://www.dmv.state.pa.us/pdotforms...ets/fs-sun.pdf

It is obviously up to the discretion of the officer to pull you over for tints. I am sure some areas of the state are more lenient than others. I also wouldn't be surprised if police gave more of a hard time to "riced out" cars than something like a mini-van or a somewhat professional looking car.

Anyways, I have decided not to tint my car because I simply want to avoid any potential hassles. Thank you everyone for your suggestions and comments.

lol pussies..just go tint your cars to 35%. you give a cop a reason to pull you over thats your fault and expect a ticket, the out of state dilemma-can they enforce it--yes, do they--no. case closed.
