I just noticed a Screw in my front passenger side tire,
. This are run flats and I got no low tire warning. What should I do? Take it out? Leave it alone? Thanks .....

Dont remove it and go to your local tire shop. They should be able to remove it patch it. Even though they are RFTs they can patch them.
Dont go to the dealership as they will want you to buy a new tire. |

That may or may not be pluggable. It's awful close to the sidewall. +1 on take it to a tire shop and let them tell you what they can and can't do for you.

Update: Took it to good year to get it repaired and it was just a small screw and since this RFT's are almost new it did not penetrate, so No Flat!!!!

That's the best case scenario! It's happened to me a couple times when filling in at my friend's shop, guy will show up and complain of a slow leak in multiple tires, I'll rack the car and spin the tires, find 6 or 7 nails/screws/whatever in the various tires, then when I go to pull them out I'll only end up putting in 2 or 3 plugs.
I don't know what it is about that area though, people seem to pick up nails and screws more than anywhere I've seen. I used to work in a damn screw factory (no lie) and I never got that much crap in my tires. Now that I'm getting more comfortable plugging tires, though, I probably ought to invest in a plug kit for myself, 'cause you know I'll need it eventually. |
