sushi samba gets my vote. btw, Allen, i would never ever spend $400 on a sushi meal. i dont think it would be worth it. lol

I agree. $400 is steep. I normally spend around $90-100 for 2 at our favorite place locally.

You can try Taisho on st. marks right off of 3rd ave. heres a little article http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/yakitori-taisho/
Its a japanese restaurant specializing in Japanese style skewers (kabobs) It looks like a dive, but its def some of the best food i have ever eaten. Just don't get the beef, everytime i ordered it always came out cold or warm. Gotta try chicken meatballs, Grilled salmon rice balls, Unagi(eel) Tofu, of coursw Mentai potatoes.

So, I was in NYC last weekend. Saw a lot of Bimmers!! (always nice). Anyway, ate at Sushi Samba in Union Square. Not that good at all...I did really like Taste of India on 45th (I think)....Of course had to go to Katz's!! Can't get good deli in Baltimore...
