K I remember now, wasn't sure if that was you. Yeah I had similar 60ft with an auto as well. Next time don't forget to lower rear tire pressure and I'm guessing you're keeping your foot on brake/gaz in the same time before doing your start? You might want to try a higher rpm before letting go of break, however be carefull the transmission doesn't like that...

For the weight, remove everything you can from your car, I mean everything, even rear trunk carpet (I'm not talking about striping the car here... just removing unnecessary junk).

Oh well let us know, I'm pretty anxious about next year, more people are modding the N52, with the AA Headers/tune we should see some interesting times soon, can't wait.

I had my foot on the brake and held the engine speed to about 2,000 RPM, I had no issues with tire spin so no need to reduce tire pressure. Given my work travel schedule, it may be a month or so before I can get back out to the drag strip.

K makes sense, with the tune you should have more torque downlow in theory, so maybe that will help your start as well, good luck!

OP if all you want is to get rid of the annoying throttle delay then just do the throttle reset. It's free , gives you instant throttle response and makes the car much more enjoyable to drive. I have a manual and it makes shifting much smoother. Been on the fence about the tune because without other mods it just does'nt seem worth it. Just my 2cents.

AA tune is awesome! The car is sooo much more fun to drive now. Expect to be visiting redline (7200 rpm) somewhat more often - if you like that sort of thing, of course.

$390 and change - installed - is not only a great deal ... it's an absolute steal!

1. Never touch the break pedal & key remains inserted the entire time
2. Insert key and push START Button
3. Press and HOLD accelerator pedal for 30 seconds (some say 5, some say 25 seconds - I did 30 to be sure).
4. WITHOUT RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, push the START Button
5. Release accelerator pedal
6. Wait full 2 minutes
7. Start car normally

Remember, unless you want a quick rush of adrenaline DO NOT touch your brake pedal while you're holding the accelerator pedal to the floor and pushing the START button.

Don't ask ...

Throttle floored and pressing START is step 4 in adaptations reset procedure described just above my post.

I instinctively pressed the brake pedal while I jabbed the START button, like I always do, except, due to a brain fart, I momentarily forgot I was doing an adaptation reset and the throttle was floored.
