Hey everyone - I recently retrofit my non-idrive 330xi with a CIC unit out of a 2008 328i. I've noticed that I don't get any traffic updates which I've read comes standard through RDS (FM radio). I've been playing around with settings in HU_CIC code based on the thread below but it looks like this thread is for Canadian updates. I'm in the US.

I've tried changing the following with no luck:

HU-CIC
3000 > NAVI_TRAFFIC_INFO_MAP > aktiv
3002 > TI_CA_TMC > aktiv
3002 > TI_TMC_REGIONAL > aktiv
3002 > TI_VINFO > aktiv
3002 > TI_FALLBACK_DISABLED > aktiv

I have the option to enable traffic maps but it just turns the map gray and doesn't populate with traffic info.

Would someone be able to send me their FSW_PSW file for the CIC_HU so I can compare the options and see what's wrong with mine? Thanks, really appreciate it!

look for CHECKBOX_TP and setting it to "aktiv".

Did you do a reset and let it sleep after?

Yup, still no luck. Somehow something I did affected my compass on the rear view mirror. It's now stuck displaying 'C'. If anyone in the states can PM me a copy of their CIC FSW_PSW file (if you have it handy) to compare, I'd really appreciate it.

You need to add 6UH to your VO, recode the CAS and CIC.
