Sweet, no one ever wants to race me either. It's not like my sedan is a sleeper. M-tech CF splitters CF spoiler. Still haven't been in one stoplight race. Although I have had a few freeway challengers fall.

Only car I have raced from a stop was a modded STi the other day. I had all of my mods taken out at the time, and was still able to pull ahead of him by like 1 car length by the time we hit around 80. Love my car.

that sounds about right. the rare car I see around here that actually looks fast is normally either not interested, driven by a 50 yr old women on a cell phone, or its a 16 yr old who is more likely to wreck into my car than give me a good run. see here for an example of the later: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=860118

+1, he almost clipped my front bumper as I was passing him at some very high speeds, didnt even check his mirror. I kept my left eye on him and the right eye on the road the whole time.

Nice kill, Matt. Sounds like she's running good with those new DP's. Any issues?
Any time you you roll past a mean sounding V8, it's very satisfying. I also miss the sound of a roaring V8. But I don't miss the MPG! |

I'll run ya. You know on route 29, there's miles of stretched straigt road with no cops. I'm glad you were able to dodge the stupid kid. Usually, ones that are worthy of running know the "rules" of street race. I've had riced can civic, maxima, altima rev at me and ricer fly by me on highways many times. I usually ignore them and keep my 60mph. I only run when the road is straight, at least a mile stretch, no cars in the vicinity. Even then, I wouldn't go above 100-110mph because by then you've already proved your points. Street racing is dangerous only on the hands of the drivers who are reckless.

Where on 29? I like the area where it deadends into 99. Make a u turn going back south on 29. There used to be a piece of asphalt that changed colors. From that mark to the Rt70 bridge was w/in 2 ft of a 1/4 mile. When I had my '69 SS we would test it there to see what MPH change mods were giving me.
