Stock boost is better than it just completely opening the wastegates and having no boost. Last edited by hotrod2448; 05-06-2008 at 09:33 AM.. |

The short ride from my house to school this morning tooooo freaking SWEEEET!!! too bad there was a grip of cops rollin' around this morning. They must have known shiv and dust were installing V3s at bimmerfest this weekend hahaha.
but yeah still working on writing up a little review. so far the V3 makes shifting in low gears soooo much smoother than stock. It got rid of the little hiccup between 1st and second gear (when just cruising) and just has a super smooth power delivery so far. Ive only ran the high boost map this morning from my house to school (around 15 miles or so). I really wanted to mob on my way home but I left from SB sunday afternoon so there were just a large volume of cars. but anyways i was only able to really floor it like twice this morning hahah. too many people on the road these days WTF! but anyways those two pulls i took are actually making my mouth water right now cus i wanna ditch my next class and go on the freeway and make 40-100 pulls on the freeway! |

On the way from bmerfest the v3 tune felt worse then my v2 use to be. I even managed to loose to a v2 tuned car with less mods on the way from
SB LOL that was embarasing. I have started the car this morning to play around with some newly installed toys and then took it for a ride. Holy hell it goes. My passenger didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I think he did both. It feels like everything is just faster now. The acceleration is smooth but its just brutal. The pedal feel has changed tremendously and its very easy to modulate the throttle going in and out of turns. As far as me being owned by a v2 car, I figured it out. I have disconnected my battery when Dustin was installing the v3 in order to reset something that needed reseting. Turns out the car was still adapting to the tune and now its a completely different animal. |

dang bimmerfest was tight! you definitely got to make it out there for next year. There was so many hot chicks walking around, not to mention the show girls were preeeeetty nice too haha. I have a space grey car with the factory m tech front lip, rear bumper and trunk deck lid. the only mod i have right now is the V3. I think im going to do a FMIC next, probably from AA. or spend a fat wad of feds and get an air runner suspension! |
