For those of you interested in exhaust...
On the G82 forums Valvetronic finished their equal length setup which sounds epic and I'm sure performs better than stock. This is their response to my question: awesome news. |

I wonder how much of a difference it would be considering its very similar in size and the drive train is the same. Probably minor tweaks if any

I also have no intention of using aftermarket downpipes. The exhaust stinks, there's a risk you could fail your emissions test and sonically I find them annoying AF. |

The irony is BMW could have had my $$$ as well as I'm sure yours if they just had a MPE that didn't cost an arm and a d!ck and wasn't so stupid looking.

Very true. If it were $2600 like the M340, I'd be on my build right now.

Has anyone looked at the IND catalog for G87? On pages 12 and 13 there is a laundry list of Alpha N carbon body parts. Splitter, hood, front quarter panels, trunk, side skirts, full underbody, and diffuser. Price is pretty high but I'm pretty excited to see the weight savings and looks.

This is changed. I'm working with Richland Forged and will be sporting their new wheel model based on the M4 GT3R wheel. I'm also working with Valvetronic Designs and will be sporting, at a minimum, their G87 equal length mid-pipe. I'm also considering that Future Classics short shift kit and a CDV delete.

I've got the Richland forged link bookmarked and figured I'd call the 3-5 prospects (all have a similar look to the ones you are getting) once I have an allocation. You are a few months ahead of me though since you found that hea. Gonna keep an eye on your project since we seem to be going similar routes. Wanted the mperf exhaust and HAS, but once I saw the price for mperf exhaust and found out the suspension couldn't be port installed I started thinking of what I want to do instead. |

I'm sort of hesitant with the HAS kits. The adjustability seems nice but they just add weight and I'll probably never adjust it.
After dropping some weight on the front I may just get custom springs that are more suited to the car and offer a minimal 10-15mm drop. |
