Have a few new things going on.

Replaced the sender and the lpfp. No more gas smell in the cabin. I did manage to not seat the LPFP correctly and ended up dumping a few gallons on the ground.

Temporarily dyed my visors because they were horrible.

Started on my rear seat delete. Got quite a bit of it figured out. I actually like having it open though. We will see what I end up doing. I’m going to make plans for a half cage.

Got some photos from cars and coffee at my friends shop. I desperately need to fix my bumper booboo from some jerk in the parking lot.

Did some more weight reduction.

Cowl, rear seat tops misc bolts and brackets.

I will be using the factory fold down option still. I’m trying to figure out the best material to use now.



Over 70lbs out of the vehicle. I can feel a difference oddly enough. Now just to do the rear brakes and bumper supports and front seats. Should be right around 3180 after that. Goal was 3200 lbs, 400whp. Should be a fun combo.

Finally added the color matched stripe and re-cleared the spoiler. Have a few more updates and a lot of things “in process”.

Got a gearbox malfunction today as well Too bad I left my laptop across town at my girls place.

Did a quick test fit again. Seemed to have warped a little. Still fits pretty well though. This hardly had anything securing it. I love the look. I’ve been wanting to do this since I painted the car. Sides of the hood are next.

Buttoned up the intercooler and moved the car out of the garage. Just in time for the wide body to show up nice birthday gift to myself.

UPDATE:

Still have the 335i. I was diagnosing a few things after I did the trans service and shift noids. Center support bearing went MIA out of no where and starts banging on lower RPM take offs. Luckily the replacement parts came in a day or two ago.


I sold my Lexus daily and ended up finding a crazy deal on a LCI E90.


It’s a 2011 with 120k. It does have a salvage title, but is also factory warranty with the SULEV 15/150,000.


A little rough around the edges, but it’s cleaning up nicely.


I offered $800 and drove it home 50 miles.
Probably going to start a thread for that car in the near future.
