N52 Oil priming procedure

Hey everyone
Just wanted to see how I should prime my oil system after doing the OFHG, how do I unplug the injectors or can I just unplug the fuse. This is on a 2011 BMW 328i

just drive the car, If you need to do something just for piece of mind you can follow this guide for the N55, should apply for the N52 as well

Ya I think it’s a bit different on the n55 because of the injectors, on my car it’s a fuel rail and I’m just wondering where I can unplug them

The idea is the same where you would still remove the fuel pump fuse. Should be a 20A fuse in position 70 but verify.

don't worry about this if you have an n51/n52. I did my ofhg at about 100kmiles, and now I'm at 135kmiles. n55 probably needs this, I haven't felt adventurous enough to see what happens if you don't prime the oil circuit.

I've replaced the OFHG on my E90 N52 twice and I've done 34 oil changes on it. Oil changes, using a pneumatic oil excavation canister, I suck out every drop of oil in the OFH. And I let the oil pan drip until it stops, the I suck out any residual oil in the pan.

I've never primed the engine with oil. Enough oil stays in the oil pump/pickup tube to prevent any oil starvation issues.
