Bit late a reply, but you should definitely give Paul at Shine On Auto Detailing a ring. He spent an entire day (over 14 hours) paintwork correcting, polishing, detailing my car. His application and dedication to his work is incredible, and the results are completely breathtaking. My car hasn't got a single swirl mark on it, the sapphire black paint is deep and immensely reflective, and the metallic flakes stand out massively. For the amount of work he put in, and the results I got, money well spent. He'll quote for each situation individually, but for a full paintwork correction detail, with Swissvax Best of Show wax (he's Swissvax recommended), budget around £400-£450 plus travel expenses... He comes with a van full of water, so can clean your car while it's parked at work too... Obviously, it's a lot less money if there's no paintwork correction involved (which takes HOURS... literally... ) Pics will follow - am waiting for him to email them to me, as I left my camera at home ![]() Paul @ www.shineondetail.com ![]() ![]()

I like those wheels
![]() Multispokes are lovely when they are clean but take ages to actually clean, whereas five spokes are really easy to clean and look great too, win / win situation!

OK, I seem to have had loads of interest in this stuff, I will call them tomorrow morning and ask them what amounts they will send me and if we can get a discount if buying say 5m of it.

Yeah, they are a bit of a pain to deal with though, wanted to pay them over the phone and wanted a metre which I was quoted £42 for.
But they said they needed to send me a pro rata invoice, which I received, and it was for 1.6x1.6m and was £80 something plus shipping and vat so nearly £100. But does mean there will be plently spare when I mess up!! |
