The sides aren't much of a big deal if it is just a larger or smaller gap. There are about 5 little rectangular covers covering the fender bolts once you have opened the hood, use a T30 and you can loosen them to give you enough movement to adjust the gap. I could have helped with this when your car was at Motorwerks this week, guess I should have chimed in earlier.

nick, where you located??

I just tweaked the fenders (no shims needed b/c the hood height was good) and I leaned on the fenders and rebolted them...hood looks better than stock now!!

going to home depot soon to pick up a little weather strip (thinner one) to replace the ones on the front I took off...pics soon!

THREAD CORRECTION:
-my vorsteiner hood fits better than stock

thanks all for the help!!!

heres the hood...post tweaking

(was so easy...thank you all again)

**since I took off the front rubber strips above the kidneys for fitment, I went to homedepot and bought a 7.99 roll of automotive/all weather rubber weather strip (its thinner..and has a self adhesive)...and strapped that on in the same spot for a little bit of weather protection, and not to lose the soft rebound the old rubber strip had ..cheap fix..hood still clamps down easy breezy

thanks!

imo...if you took off the two rubber strips on the front bottom...that 7.99 rubber weather strip from home depot is great...really provides a good seal on the bottom side of the hood and a little protection from any nasty bumps (and still lets you latch the hood down as far as you want)
