by purchasing through a vendor, you'll also be provided with customer support, the opportunity to ask them questions about the product before you buy (quality, installation time/difficulty, etc), which lets you make a more informed purchase, and in some cases, warranty on the products should they be defective or arrive damaged.

Mike and Nick, the two vendors who have posted in this thread, are really helpful. I'd advise you to purchase through them.

It has the 3 light bar effect with the parking lights so you don't lose that look.

If the powerbox voids warranty, what should I do when I get my car serviced?

The PBX does not void your warranty automatically This has been discussed many times, especially in the Forced Induction section. If you are worried about warranty just remove the tune before going in for service, and get a BT scan tool to be able to scan your codes as you will most likely be going in for something not tuning related.

On the 135/335's the fuel pump is a great example. If you are tuned and your pump fails then its still BMW's responsibility to fix it, but they may be resistant if they find a tune, so thats why if you remove it there are not issues. Also if you are going in for routine maintenance you can just set the PBX to map0 and bring the car in. (Just my opinion)

Perhaps a drop-in higher performance filter like Macht Schnell
