I tried searching but can't seem to find someone who has run both spacers in the front and rear with their stock 189s

I'm thinking 5mm front, 10mm rear.

Possible yes?
Bad idea?
Good Idea?

I'm mainly doing this due to clearance issues with my FKs in the front

And I noticed the rear would look better with a spacer..

I run this exact setup for my winter wheels on my e92 on KW v2 coilovers. You'll have no problem with clearance issues, both with the coilovers and with fender rubbing. Remember to run extended wheel bolts with your spacers. Some people will argue that with 5mm spacers, you do not necessarily need extended wheel bolts, but just to be safe I always stick to the full 5-turns on your lugs rule when installing wheels. With stock lugs, you will only get around 3.5 turns while running 5mm spacers.

I am running 12mm rears on my E93, I have the 18" 193m wheels, but they are the same offset and width etc as the 189's, 12mm works perfect, anything wider will rub, the e90 guys can go to 15mm. Avoid spacers on the front if you can, but if you must 5mm is as much as you would want to go and make sure you get some good ones, not the generic ones.

I'm surprised you'll need spacers in the front to clear the OEM wheels from the FKs in the front.

hmm...seems the e93s are having this issue...had to do that one mine to clear my Fks....went 12mm...but i think i could have gone as small as 8...no spacers in the rear either....

These will take spacers up to 15mm.

You put 12mm front but none in the rear?

I never put a spacer on the front but was running a 15mm spacer on the rear with my 189s. It really helped the look quite a bit. I would run a 15mm on the rear, but I am not sure whats the best spacer to run up front. If you want some picks just let me know and I'll post them.
