I think those sales have a ceiling limit for offering 'gift' depends on how much they can earned from us

IMO, just take whatever is useful. If he offered me the carpets, i'd rather take the gas coupon.
Carpet should be a must for nowadays' customer service. European car sales seem to be not as generous as Japanese car sales. Maybe because European cars are selling very good in last few years.

The add-on one is for protecting the original one?

The original is fixed and mounted on the car, the add-on is removable and yes, kind of protecting the orginal one.

By the way, Euro cars are selling good probably b'coz YEN are too high recently....

A new car should come with a set of the original removable mats which is put on top of the cabin lining. When I got my E91 back in 2008, I managed to get a rubber tray for the trunk and it is indeed very usable coz we are bringing our 2 small dogs out during weekends. In addition, I also got HKD1.5 K Shell gas coupons.

For HK's rainy summer, I think it is a good idea to use a set of rubber mats to replace the woolen one for the cabin.

I went to BMW last weekend and the promo is still valid. Basically 489,000 for 325iA e93 2010 (pre-LCI).

1) Is the price of the 323i 512,000?

2) Does this price include iDrive?

3) Other than iDrive, are all the options the same? I know the 325iA comes with Professional HiFi, what about the 323i?

I basically have the car on hold until EOD tomorrow (the last one with the color I want) so have to decide soon. The power difference between them is negligible and so is the price, so basically it comes down to options for me.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Try my best to answer....

1. E93 323i LCI - $512k

2. Since the LCI comes with GPS, I believed it comes with iDrive too. My pre-LCI does not come with iDrive tho.

3. Should be optional

If price and power are not your concern, I will go for LCI as it is latest model overall. Provided that you can wait for the LCI shipment

Thanks for the info.

100k difference between 323iA and 325iA. Other than the engine, are there any other difference in options?

Reason I am asking is that its only a 28hp increase between 323i and 325i for 100k but from 325i to 330i is a 54HP increase, but price only goes up by 45k.

Just called BMW. The sales guy said between 323i and 325i LCI the differences are:

* Engine power increase
* 18" wheels instead of 17"
* Front and Read PDC instead of rear only.

It appears iDrive is *NOT* standard but a 52k option (incl. tax).

From your profile, you used to drive a 335i, will you happy to drive a 325i with less power? Why not go for E92 335i with DCT?

I bought that 335i in japan where there is no 85% tax!!!!

I also would take the car regularly to track days. There are no tracks in Hong Kong (correct me if I'm wrong). The 335i was frustrating to drive in the city--it was very eager and fast and the streets in HK seem much narrower and crowded. I don't want to spend so much on the engine here. I'd rather get a fully optioned 323/325 with logic7/ipod etc. and also I want a e93 this time.

in the old day, (for E90) 323i came witthout the bi-xenon, idrive, "electric-flipped" side mirror nor PDC. The bi-xenon and idrive cost you 70k+. Just ask the sales to give you the quotation for both model. it should list out whatever options came with the car.
