The figures hold true no matter how much property one has. What every new car buyer has to ask themselves is this: Is having a new car worth more to me than the money I would make investing elsewhere? To take my previous example, is having a new car worth 130k to you over three years? That's 3,600/month. A couple of grand more here (Ireland), maybe 5,700/month, as our property market has been rising by 15%pa for the past several years. To some people, it is. Not me, though.

Just put my deposit down today and the delivery request date has gone out. I requested the First Thursday in July but that's probably iffy considering what others have said recently. Here is the damage...

I learned the hard way, getting lightweight 2-pc. rims on my other car. Moderate speed and pothole = toast. No matter what propoganda circulates on the web, repairs = compromise the integrity of the wheel.

A lot of people talk from what they hear, it's different to experience it. I say nothing like losing hundreds of k's on the stock market back in 2k1, of your own money. Then you know how it feels, makes you very humble. Same thing with the rims, some people tell you to get them, though they've never experienced ruining one rim, not being able to get a replacement, and tossing the other 3 and buying 4 new.

And your friend has established a pattern for life, tell him Hondas last 10 years easy, so hope he likes his 2k17 Accord as well.
