yea i was teetering between BOV or an upgraded DV... The sound is great but I would never want to diminish performance for it. And at the price for some of these BOVs I better be gaining some sort of performance enhancement other than that wooosh! sound

It's all personal preference. I LOVE my bov. I have the Evolution Racewerks charge pipe the the HKS bov. Some may call it "ricey", but I love it and get comments on it all the time. Its one of my favorite mods.

Ya, i'm not a real big component of a BOV just for the sound. Once you are pushing over 400whp, like myself, you need to have that component or you will not conserve boost and harm your engine in the long run. Everything is for performance. I did get a metallic blue BOV thought to match the exterior, lol.

I just bought the Jb speed z shift... I have an auto and it sounds just like my hyperboost diverter valves. I was reluctant to open up my DV's to service so I picked up this bov instead. The charge pipe is 3 inches instead of the stock 2.5. This makes a difference in performance! Also the Z shift is good for 15 psi... thats map 5 on jb3.
I am currrently on map 8 getting 18 psi but who knows for how long???

^ I agree, for I will shortly be close to 400 whp too(atleast im hoping anyway). What do you think?...HPF fmic, vinshu dci or afe dci (I have both, when I dyno it I will do runs with both and see which yields the most Hp and tq and check the ambient temps for both) aa bov, aa exhaust, ar catless downpipes, ar oil cooler, ar oil catch can, and the procede w/ 130 firmware. Only thing left is meth and upgraded turbos (talking only engine related mods) right??
