but seriously...this would be cool if someone with MT 325i could try this out to make sure it makes provable gains. i'm currently leasing my 325i...so I'm keeping my mods fairly light...otherwise i would do it myself. and if this works...i'd probably keep my 325i after the lease is up and buy the parts to install it...

ahh...the possibilities.

yea i really dont think we can get enough people, we need about $1500 for all this, and i dont think that many members would pitch in (150 members at least)

I think these guys from Creative have to find a way of getting these parts cheaper.

We can't get the products for much cheaper since they arent ready for mass production. The software atleast. As for the intake manifold, its a dealer item if I'm not mistaken. Maybe I am?

Are you saying that they still work on the software?

I am not sure what does "dealer item" means but I thought you can get a good deal on the bmw parts from somewhere since you will be selling them.

No what i was saying was that since the Ecu flash isnt something that is being mass produced I am assuming that is the reason why the price isnt as cheap. As for the Intake, BMW parts will have to come from BMW, and as we all know their prices arent cheap to start with so the price cant be that much cheaper.
Now I am not involved w/ this personally so don't take 100% of my words as fact, but it just makes sense to think of it that way. ya know?

hey im kinda confused when it came to the parts costs...
to clarify to make this work.... we would need the ECU reflash which costs how much again $$$ ?????
how much does a brandnew manifold cost?
and wat was all that bs with screws and wat not? i thought we only needed 2 things here?

wat im essentially asking is.. how much to make this all work? was that $1500 stated earlier including the reflash???

hunter how long after the e90's came out did you wait to buy. it seems since youve been on the forum so long that you bought early and possibly only have to buy the adjusters rather than the whole intake, idk how to check but i think its worth doing
